INTRO-CORE — Introduction: Core Principles
What does INTRO-CORE say?
The Code is built on four core principles that should guide behavior analysts: (1) Benefit others — behavior analysts work to maximize benefits and do no harm; (2) Treat others with compassion, dignity, and respect — behavior analysts behave toward others as they would want to be treated; (3) Behave with integrity — behavior analysts fulfill responsibilities to stakeholders honestly and follow through on commitments; (4) Ensure their competence — behavior analysts only practice within their scope and seek professional development. These core principles should guide behavior analysts when they encounter situations not addressed in the Code.
