What does 6.02 say?

Behavior analysts are responsible for obtaining approval from a formal research review committee prior to conducting research and for conducting research consistent with that approval. If a formal research review committee does not exist, behavior analysts use the core principles of the Code and consult with independent, experienced researchers to evaluate the ethics of the planned research. Behavior analysts conduct all research consistent with the outcome of that evaluation.
